VISUAL DESIGN SPECIALIST • PHOTOGRAPHER • UX/UI ADEPT
For nearly a decade, I have been providing professional support in all matters of
visual design.
Creative visual design is not merely the ability to produce attractive graphics.
It is the art of capturing a project’s essence, expressing its character, and applying both strategic and analytical insight.
When you collaborate with me, you can be certain of one thing: I will elevate your project to an entirely new level.
Back then, I would sit down and draw my dreams while I still remembered them. An example of one of those dreams is on the right side, from my second year of middle school. I would continue drawing my strange dreams many times after that - some of them were truly terrifying. In this way, I earned a reputation at school as the go-to person for drawing scary things.
Unfortunately, middle school was also a time of serious illness, which kept me in the hospital for several months and out of school for nearly a year. Thanks to a very kind friend who brought me notebooks full of notes every week, I was able to study on my own at home.
As I said—there were highs and lows.
Fairly typical interests for a child, right? After all, many kids love doodling on sheets of paper (and sometimes even in books), just as most boys enjoy playing football. Well, maybe except for my fascination with space - by the age of five, I already knew all the planets of the Solar System, could name them in order from the Sun, and even draw them
My religion notebook was my favorite. While the catechism teacher was conducting the class and talking about religious matters, I would draw stars and logos of my favorite rock and metal bands.
I also enjoyed drawing in my math notebook. I often finished all the assignments quickly, so I had plenty of time left for drawing.
After reading the book Metro 2033,
I became a fan of the post-apocalyptic atmosphere
On the left is my math notebook from the first year of middle school. I really got hooked back then on reading the Metro series, watching Mad Max, and drawing post-apocalyptic characters

Why do I do what I do?
Here is a piece of my story about searching for myself and my place in the world.
Small, imprecise, and without a screen -
a generic brand. But back then, it didn’t bother me at all, because the precision and joy of drawing were far greater than anything
I could achieve with a mouse (yes, for a while I did draw with a mouse—better not to show the results from that period)
Working with colors led me to slightly change
my style
At the same time, I also started listening to a more diverse range of music - various forms of electronic music - which I think also influenced my style, making it a bit softer. Back then, I had no idea which direction my journey with digital art would take. My fascination with space returned as well.
I didn’t stop drawing on paper, either; I even began selling my drawings and creating custom pieces on request.
For nearly a decade, I have been providing professional support in all matters of visual design.
Creative visual design is not merely the ability to produce attractive graphics.
It is the art of capturing a project’s essence, expressing its character,
and applying both strategic and analytical insight.
When you collaborate with me, you can be certain of one thing:
I will elevate your project to an entirely new level.
Why should you choose to work with me?
Conventional visual identities have lost their impact. A logo generated by an algorithm will disappear into a sea of similar designs, and template-based projects no longer capture attention. Audiences are inundated with such content.
Only carefully conceived and truly distinctive work ensures that your idea becomes recognizable and positively perceived - an essential step toward commercial success.
Exceptional results demand exceptional people: those who think beyond the obvious and treat trends as inspiration rather than as rules. This is the essence of my approach.
What, precisely, makes my perspective stand out from the rest?

Marketing Manager Budros
The materials provided by Mr. Marcin were an indispensable part of our advertising campaign. It was, in large part, thanks to them that the campaign achieved its intended visibility and wide reach. Working with him deserves the highest recommendation - always punctual, always delivering top-quality materials.
Marketing Specialist Amber
I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the graphics. They are always consistent, aesthetically pleasing, and capture the attention of our clients. I must also commend his commitment, as it is often Mr. Marcin who comes up with most of the ideas for our social media materials. We have been collaborating for quite some time, and
I wholeheartedly recommend him.
Piotr
Owner Osiedluwa Barbershop
A perfect hit with the visual identity Marcin created for me. I feel that most people in Starogard already recognize my establishment. Working with such a designer is invaluable - I always receive graphics quickly and impeccably prepared. We have been collaborating for two years, and
I believe our partnership will continue for
a long time.
According to my clients, collaborating with me is a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Not only because I am a calm and approachable person, but also because I follow a simple yet highly effective process.
I deliver the final project. After completion, I also provide ongoing support, for instance, if you need any minor adjustments.
Once I complete the final design, we review it together and determine any necessary revisions, which occasionally occur.
I prepare the initial assumptions and drafts of the materials you need. After a brief discussion of the concept, once you approve it, I begin the full production.
At the very beginning, I need to understand your needs, what you want to achieve, and your idea so that I can explain how I can assist you.
Although I undertake a wide range of projects - from video editing and multimedia presentations to advertising banners and preparing large-scale trade show booths for print.
I specialize in a select few areas.
Flyers, business cards, posters, banners, billboards, and more.
Social media graphics, web banners and more.
For a wide range of media, from simple illustrations to graphics for T-shirts and more.

I really got hooked back then on reading the Metro series, watching Mad Max, and drawing post-apocalyptic characters.
Small, imprecise, and without a screen—a generic brand. But back then, it didn’t bother me at all, because the precision and joy of drawing were far greater than anything I could achieve with a mouse (yes, for a while I did draw with a mouse—better not to show the results from that period).

Back then, I had no idea which direction my journey with digital art would take. My fascination with space returned as well.
I didn’t stop drawing on paper, either; I even began selling my drawings and creating custom pieces on request.
That’s how my adventure at the Gdańsk University of Technology began. At first, everything was going very well,
I enrolled in a special program for students with the highest exam results, which offered additional classes with international lecturers every semester. I was also part of the student club Hybryda, where we organized booths and presentations, including events for the university’s open days. I was in charge of the club’s graphic side, designing posters and flyers, and editing videos for showcases and competitions.
Yet, after the first two semesters, I began to have doubts about this career path. The idea of working in a laboratory no longer appealed to me. These struggles, the feeling that I was in the wrong place, and the overwhelming stress from the university—which by then seemed increasingly meaningless—eventually led me to a nervous breakdown.
I left the university after four semesters.
But this isn’t the end of the story at all. Perhaps, in time, I’ll add another chapter of my life to it. Anything is possible.
If there’s anyone who has read this entire story, I truly thank you—and I’m impressed. Few people manage to find the time for something like this in our crazy world.
I would also be very grateful if you reached out to me through the contact form below and let me know what you think of my website. Every piece of feedback is valuable to me, even the critical kind.
Finally, I want to wish everyone who visits my site a good and peaceful day.
That's the end of this story
Thank you for your attention
As I near the end of this story, it was only when I started studying graphic design that I truly felt I was doing the right thing. I began dedicating most of my free time to deliberately learning graphic software and delving into the fundamental principles of design. During my studies, I signed up for courses that proved incredibly helpful in this journey, allowing me to carefully develop my artistic skills.
I also consciously started exploring applied design. I decided to try my hand at working as a regular freelancer. At first, it was incredibly difficult to get any assignments; my first real graphic projects were for friends of friends. At the same time, I was working in customer service, studying, and completing freelance projects—intensely—but I found that
I really enjoyed this kind of graphic work.
Gradually, I started receiving occasional jobs from Facebook groups, sometimes winning a contest on DesignCrowd, or getting inquiries from acquaintances of acquaintances who had heard that I created good graphics. When I finished my studies, I decided I had to push myself even further - because the job market for designers is tough, standing out in the crowd is hard, and finding work is even harder.
Yet giving up never even crossed my mind. Only continuous growth keeps me satisfied with my work. When I look at projects I made a year or two ago and compare them to what I create today, I can see just how far I’ve come. That thought is incredibly motivating.
This is partly why I share this story on my website, which primarily serves as a portfolio. It is a testament to how far I’ve come, that I didn’t give up, and that I still have to go even further—because I’m not yet where I want to be. But this time, at least, I feel that I’m finally on the right path.
